Sazali & Co was founded at the peak of the COVID-19 pandemic – a period that highlighted critical gaps in access to quality financial advisory services, especially in emerging markets like Zanzibar and Tanzania. Organizations were facing unprecedented uncertainty and navigating regulatory complexity without strategic

About the Founder
Samiha Ali is the founder and principal advisor at Sazali & Co. She is an award-winning entrepreneur, known for her strategic mind, integrity, and commitment to economic transformation in the region.
With a background in tax consulting, financial planning, and business strategy, Samiha has led high-impact advisory engagements with five-star resorts, NGOs, real estate developers, and manufacturing firms. Her advisory style blends precision, pragmatism, and deep local insight – enabling her clients to navigate complexity and scale with confidence.
Samiha currently sits on the board of the Zanzibar National Chamber of Commerce (ZNCC), where she represents Women & Youth, and on the board of the Zanzibar Broadcasting Corporation (ZBC), where she represents the private sector. She continues to advocate for responsible growth, gender equity, and sustainable investment across East Africa.
